CURRENT Jamie is sponsored by Second Chance Rescue and supported by Get Em Out. He is in foster care in Killingworth, CT in a household with two other dogs: one male and one female, both pit mixes. He has been exposed to older children as well as other dogs, no cats however. MEDICAL Jamie is approximately 2yo and he is UTD on all shots and neutered. BACKGROUND Jamie was pulled from a shelter in NYC last October. He was placed in a foster care home who ultimately did not care for him properly: he was left on an unheated porch 24/7 and was found by the rescue covered in his own feces/urine. They immediately put Jamie into boarding until his new foster was found where he lives now.
I Love Jamie. We are happy that we were able to save this boy from certain death at the high-kill shelter. Jamie is a loyal buddy, and just wants to be near his person as much as possible. He does like to play fetch, but needs to learn to drop the ball on the way back, lol. Jamie gives really big- wet kisses, so no make-up is required when going out with Jamie..lol. Jamie is in need of an active person/ family, who will teach Jamie his place in the home. He is a big Teddy-Bear, and is strong willed. He needs to be physically stimulated, as well as mentally stimulated and would benefit from some continued training. He really is a sweet boy, who acts more like a 1 year old rater than a 3 year old. Jamie is good in the car and enjoys belly rubs.
ReplyDeleteI've worked with Jamie over the last two weeks and he is THE most lovable goofball I've seen in years. I've noticed that he's cross-eyed though, Jenn/Lisa, have you noticed that? Would that affect his vision?
